C. This is an update on the 2' x 4' terrain board and attachments, being finished within a week from now (Oct 25, 2003). Playtesting and a massive, digital photo shoot is the next phase... 1. For terrain, I'm creating a 2' x 4' post-nuke-war city section of battlefield to "fight" battles in/on. Each 'army' will have a points value attached to each simplified vehicle, or asset's game statistics- all based on terrain and mission parameters. Skynet forces will always outnumber Human Resistance forces by 1/3 points, except in certain "withdrawal," "ambush," and "desperate assault" scenarios, and the like. 2. The terrain board is nearly 100% original, with some HO scale light poles, barrels, burned out cars and trucks, a nuke-blasted factory, the "burnt kid's playground" from T2, and piles of skulls, chunks of buildings, blasted walls and pipes/girders, bent fences, and debris everywhere. The battlefield dioramic is very movie oriented for realism, created to simulate a section of city that was about five to ten miles from a nuke's ground zero blast epicenter, and made to facilitate rough vehicle movement and maximum troop tactics. 3. The final terrain steps are underway, with some minor game board touchups and completions- ruined cars, burned out factory, even the children's playground with burnt swings, merry-go-round, bouncy car, and teeter-totters. HO scale 25mm to 28mm stuff works great. D. Update & Closing (the fun, silly stuff) as of 10/15/03: Way to go Governor Arnold! You rawk da hause! I can just hear it now... "Mr. Arnold, the Western seaboard of the U.S. has been invaded by the Enemy, sir." Arnold turns around and looks at the messenger, deadly calm in his eyes, his stogie coming out for a second... "Terminate them." ^_^ Game reference: "I can't believe they capped John," the soldier said to her, his face saddened, yet apprehensive. "Nobody's immune, trooper," replied Kate Brewster-Connor, her eyes fighting back the tears. The T-850 Model-101 stared impassively at them all. Kate knew she had to be strong, especially now- she was in command, and THEY were coming... *** T-3 Computer Game, coming soon!*** Tech/Com files signed by: /S/ Tech/Com Master-Sergeant Gavdin Trell DN-6704, Connor '26 to '32 - Gavdin/TDM "Cyberdyne Systems T-882, Model 110" BobaFett0001@msn.com * Special thanks to those on the T3 website for their help and support through "these dark times." :)
